YBS Youngbloods is one of many YouTube channels that are showcasing amazing spearfishing videos. Aside from casting his fishing rod, Brodie Moss in almost all episodes of YBS is using his spearfishing gears to catch fish for food.
Brodie Moss started using a Rob Allen Tuna Railgun which was sponsored by Rob Allen himself. Later on when his brother Jacko perfected his speargun “Jacko Series”, Brodie began using Jacko’s speargun in all his spearfishing videos moving forward.

Rob Allen Tuna Railgun
A few years back before Brodie Moss, Jacko and YBS Youngbloods started designing their spearguns, they were sponsored by Rob Allen. That is why much if not all of the spearfishing gears YBS Youngbloods is using is Rob Allen spearguns.
The specific Rob Allen spearguns that Brodie Moss uses are Rob Allen Tuna Railgun. YBS used different sizes of Rob Allen Railguns for different purposes and conditions underwater while spearfishing.
Brodie Moss uses two different sizes of spearguns depending on the situation. These are 1200 and 1400 Rob Allen Tuna Railguns. (check current price on amazon)
Brodie uses the 1200 size speargun when spearfishing at around 15 meters under and when the water is not clear looking for some fish like trout and blue bone. On the other hand, the 1400 railgun is best which is more powerful and has more range is being used by Brodie in open water chasing bigger fish.
YBS Youngbloods Jacko Series Spearguns
When YBS launched their own spearfishing gear, Brodie Moss started using their spearguns “Jacko Series” which was named after his brother Jacko (Jackson). From then on, no other speargun can be seen in the videos of YBS Youngbloods uploaded on YouTube.
The Jacko Series speargun design is simple and straight forward good for all levels of spearo that is made of strong materials. According to YBS website, the speargun is made out of solid Australian hardwood which makes it easy to manuever underwater and shoots great while maintaining power.
